SCA Expo returns in full force

In what most would agree was a ‘shell’ of its typical Expo, the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) held its 2021 Expo in New Orleans, Louisiana last September – the first ‘in-person’ Expo since 2019 and much later than its typical April time frame. Now, the SCA Expo returns in full force – in Boston, Massachusetts – kicking off tonight with a Welcome Reception.

However, the potential to reuse coffee pulp, organic waste from pruning and other field activities as well as wastewater from coffee processing is underestimated.
