Starbucks’ new coffee launches to benefit at-home consumers

Starbucks and Nestlé have introduced a variety of new coffees in multiple formats for consumers to enjoy at home.

The new products began rolling out to grocery shelves in the first quarter of 2020 and included Cold Brew Concentrate, Fresh Brew Coffee, Starbucks Coffee with Essential Vitamins, Starbucks Coffee with Golden Turmeric and Starbucks Coffee with 2X the Caffeine.

Brand new to the market is Starbucks Fresh Brew pre-portioned airtight packaging. The airtight seal locks in the peak flavour of Starbucks’ signature ground coffee for fresh taste every time. Available in Pike Place Roast, French Roast, and Breakfast Blend, Starbucks Fresh Brew minimises the work that goes into consumers’ morning coffee routines as the grounds are pre-portioned to brew 4-6 cups of the Starbucks coffee. The MSRP for a pack of 8 (1.3oz can) is $13.99.

Starbucks’ new Cold Brew Concentrate improves the ease-of-use when preparing cold brew coffee: all consumers need to do is mix the concentrate with water and ice. Starbucks Cold Brew Concentrates are available in Signature Black and Caramel Dolce flavours in both multi-serve and single serve formats.

Starbucks Functional Coffees

  • Essential Vitamins: With five B vitamins. Available in roast and ground, and K-Cup pods.
  • Golden Turmeric: with turmeric, ginger and cinnamon. Available in roast and ground, and K-Cup pods.
  • 2x Caffeine: twice the caffeine for an added boost (when compared to one Starbucks K-Cup pod of black coffee). Also available in K-Cup pods.

Now available nationwide in grocery stores, these products build upon the portfolio of innovation that has come from the global coffee alliance between Starbucks and Nestlé, formed in August 2018, which expanded the presence of the Starbucks brand in over 30 markets.
