There is still time to participate in the 2025 Gold Medal Tea Competition and the Sustainability Awards.

Organisers for the 14th Annual North American Tea Conference (NATC) encourage all tea-producing countries and their respective tea boards to take part – whether in person or virtually – in these two tea competitions that celebrate excellence and innovation in the global industry.

The Gold Medal Tea Competition offers a unique opportunity to spotlight a tea-producing country’s finest teas. Entries will be judged strictly by origin, regardless of production type or grade, with the goal of identifying and honouring the highest-quality “Gold Medal Teas.” This is a powerful platform to showcase the exceptional character and craftsmanship of teas from your region. Please refer to the contest rules below for full details.

The Sustainability Awards recognise impactful initiatives that advance sustainability within the tea sector. Open to all, free of charge, and highly visible at the conference, this is a meaningful way to highlight a tea country’s leadership and innovation in sustainable practices. The NATC invites tea companies to share their work and gain global recognition.

The submission deadline for both the Gold Medal Tea Awards and Sustainability Awards is Friday, August 8th. Winners will be announced during the Chairman’s Dinner on September 4th at the Hyatt Place Charleston, as part of the North American Tea Conference (September 3rd-5th).
