NCA moves 2022 convention online

Following discussions with its members, staff, past attendees, and other stakeholders, the National Coffee Association (NCA) has made the decision to move its 2022 Convention 100% online for the second year in a row.
In a statement, the Association stated: “While we had hoped to see you face-to-face this March, it is simply not a prudent choice to forge ahead given the uncertain trajectory of the ongoing public health crisis.
“As you may recall, our 2021 Virtual Convention was a huge success. The new virtual format opened the door to many in our industry who otherwise would not have been able to attend an in-person convention, whether due to geography, travel costs, staffing needs, or other constraints.
“The event platform’s robust networking features fostered business connections (and friendships) across industries and across continents.
“And with nearly all convention content available to stream on-demand post-event, even the busiest coffee professional could benefit from our industry-leading breakout sessions and inspiring keynote speakers – and do so on a schedule that worked for them.
“We’re eager to build on these successes, grow from our lessons learned, and deliver the best NCA Convention yet – and we hope to see you there!”
