Coffee Project New York, the independent roaster with locations across NYC, has launched a limited coffee release of Colombia Nidia Ramirez with a direct social impact.
Sourced from producer Nidia Ramirez Correcha in Tolima, this washed Colombian Caturra was developed in partnership with the SANA Program, a nonprofit expanding access to mental health resources for women coffee farmers. Every bag sold directly contributes to SANA’s programming, funding one month of care for a participating farmer.
The Colombia Nidia Ramirez, SANA Program lot offers a clean, fruit-forward profile, with notes of Red Delicious apple, plum, honeysuckle, and milk chocolate, with a medium roast designed for versatility across brew methods. It is available now via e-commerce (USD $27).
To date, Coffee Project NY has funded over four full-year sponsorships. While this release is limited, the team plans to continue rotating new coffees into this format with proceeds benefitting SANA ongoing.
