    As you already know (and have published), the USA Chapter Committee Elections have commenced! I would love to participate in any published or public debate regarding why I am interested in serving in this volunteer position.

    Perhaps there could be held in Kansas City this coming weekend? As of now, no one has arranged any event to get to know candidates, but I’m all for it, and I would love to make my case for the position.

    Meet the Slate of Candidates for the USA Chapter Committee Elections

    A note I drafted to my personal social media channels..

    “SCA members will receive an e-mail tomorrow regarding SCA USA Chapter committee elections. You will find my name on the ballot for the North Central Regional Coordinator position. I share this ballot with a very talented pool of coffee professionals, and I believe any one of these members will be a good choice.
    So how should you decide? If you would like your Regional Coordinator to;

    1. listen to how members in their area see the future of their communities participating within the wider global SCA organization

    2. focus on supporting specialty coffee growth within communities and businesses which are struggling to actively participate in SCA events due to limited financial means

    3. actively work with rural areas and smaller cities to help strengthen their presence in regional, national, and global communities
    then please consider clicking that little box next to my name, and I’ll do my best
