Starbucks introduces winter beverages around the world

With the start of a new year, Starbucks is launching new winter beverages around the world. From Asia to the UK, Starbucks’ global customers have a wide array of new beverages from which to choose. The new winter beverages, which are hitting stores this month, include:

China, Asia Pacific and Australia

Golden Sesame Caramel Crunch Latte (Asia Pacific): A smooth and creamy combination of premium espresso and nutty sesame flavors, this beverage that is full of texture and layers, is topped with a Golden Sesame Crunch topping. It is available hot, iced, and as a Frappuccino blended beverage.

Teavana India Spice Majesty Blend (India): A blend of full leaf Assam black tea with rich spice infusions of whole cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, pepper, star anise and ginger.

Salted Caramel Mocha Crumble (Asia Pacific): This beverage combines premium espresso with a deep mocha flavor and sweet toffee nut syrup. It’s finished with a combination of whipped cream, caramel sauce and a blend of turbinado sugar and sea salt. Available hot, iced, and as a Frappuccino blended beverage.

Peach Blossom Green Tea Latte (China): This fragrant beverage is made with steamed milk and matcha powder, and topped with whipping cream and pink peach-flavored sugar.

Kumquat White Chocolate Mocha (China): A celebration of Chinese New Year with a blend of white chocolate cocoa butter, cocoa powder, and sweet kumquat flavor.

Roasted Chestnut Latte (China): Inspired by the popular Mont Blanc chestnut cake, this beverage is a sweet fusion of chestnut and dark chocolate flavor, topped with whipped cream and sprinkles.

Chestnut White Chocolate Truffle (Asia Pacific): Roasted chestnut mingles with dark, rich espresso, complemented with white chocolate sauce and a sweet chestnut drizzle atop whipped cream.

Chocolatey Banana Cocoa (Japan): This beverage is made with rich and creamy chocolate, topped with whipped cream, crumbled banana sponge cake and chocolate sauce. Chunks of banana pieces roasted with sugar add a bit of crunch. Available in dark and white chocolate, hot and as a Frappuccino blended beverage.

S’mores Frappuccino Blended Beverage (Australia): Cool and creamy layers of marshmallow-infused whipped cream, rich milk chocolate sauce, and a graham cracker crumble together with Starbucks signature coffee Frappuccino blended beverage.

Double Chocolate Green Tea Frappuccino Blended Beverage (Australia): A twist on Starbucks Green Tea Frappuccino blended beverage with smooth milk chocolate sauce, java chips and premium Green Tea matcha powder.

Europe, Middle East and Africa

Butterscotch Brûlée Latte (UK)/Creamy Caramel Latte (Europe, Middle East and Africa): A balance of espresso coffee and caramelized butterscotch, giving the beverage its distinct silky and luxurious texture. The beverage is finished with a sprinkle of caramel dust which settles to form a caramelized textured top, similar to a crème brûlée dessert. Available starting 24 Jan in select stores.

Piccino (UK): Two shots of rich espresso are blended with silky milk, steamed, then captured in a small 6-oz cup, with a big taste.

Latin America and the Caribbean

Yogurt Frappuccino Blended Beverage (Latin America and the Caribbean): A flavorful yogurt Frappuccino blended beverage in flavors that vary by market including Red Berry and Banana.

North America

As previously announced, new winter beverages in the United States and Canada include: the Cascara Latte (combines espresso with steamed milk and cascara syrup, topped with foam) and the Smoked Butterscotch Latte (combines espresso with steamed milk and smoked butterscotch sauce, finished with a sprinkling of smoky butterscotch topping).
