Matcha Love Organics launches in 450 CVS stores

ITO EN (North America) Inc. a leading premier green tea company and innovator of healthy beverages, announced that two of its award-winning matcha LOVE Organic unsweetened ready-to-drink teas, Traditional and Ginger, have rolled out to 450 CVS Pharmacy stores across the United States. The new distribution comes as part of CVS’s initiative to stock better-for-you food and beverage experiences for its customers. Both flavors started shipping to CVS stores nationwide in December.

CVS Pharmacy is a division of Woonsocket, Rhode Island-based CVS Health Corporation, which operates 9,600 retail pharmacies and more than 1,100 walk-in minute clinics across the US.

Matcha LOVE Organic unsweetened green teas are brewed with whole tea leaves and 100 percent pure matcha, a finely-milled green tea powder celebrated for the full health benefits of consuming the entire tea leaf. Each bottle offers 350 milligrams of the naturally occurring tea antioxidants, free-radical fighting catechins, amino acids, vitamins A and C, and have zero calories—naturally. Both teas are packaged in 16.9 fl. oz. BPA Free PET bottles, and have an MSRP at CVS of USD $2.39.
