Community Coffee announces private reserve blends for the holidays

Community Coffee Company has launched a “Gift of Gold” campaign for the upcoming 2016 holiday season. In select grocery stores, 12-oz. ground bags of two Community Private Reserve Coffees – the Evangeline Blend and the Founder’s Blend in festive gold packaging – will be buy two get USD $4 off.

“We’ve been working all year to craft the perfect gift for the holidays,” said Scott Eckert, vice president of marketing, Community Coffee, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. “Since the holidays are all about showing how much you care, each ‘Gift of Gold’ blend represents a unique story about our heritage and our special relationships with coffee farmers. The elegant gold packaging makes them an extra special gift for loved ones, too.”

With full and distinctive flavours, each “Gift of Gold” blend features an exceptional ground coffee that symbolizes Community Coffee’s rich history. For example, the Evangeline Blend, a dark roast that is one of Community’s original blends, was first created to honour the Acadian culture that supported the Company in its early years. The Founder’s Blend, a medium-dark roast, was created by Matt Saurage, the the fourth-generation owner and chairman of Community Coffee, in honour of his great-grandfather and company founder Cap Saurage.

For a limited time from November through December 2016, the “Gift of Gold” Private Reserve coffees deal will be available for purchase online and in select grocery stores and markets throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee and Texas.
