New Covent Garden Market-based brewery, MOMO Kombucha, has launched another new seasonal kombucha, the limited-edition Blood Orange Kombucha (RRP from £4.50 per 330ml glass bottle) in collaboration with Natoora.
MOMO’s latest seasonal collaboration with Natoora features Moro Blood Oranges grown by renowned Sicilian farmer Carmelo. These oranges are known for their vibrant colour, bright citrus acidity, and berry-like sweetness, which develop during periods of significant temperature variation between day and night.
This limited-edition kombucha combines Carmelo’s seasonal harvest with MOMO’s raw and unfiltered kombucha, made with a base of tea, raw cane sugar, and subtle additions of hibiscus and elderflower to complement the citrus flavours.
MOMO and Natoora have a history of working together on seasonal kombuchas, including February’s Forced Rhubarb Kombucha, the Winter Green Mandarin Kombucha – also made with Carmelo’s produce – and a summer edition featuring Watermelon.
Josh Puddle, co-founder of MOMO Kombucha said, “We’re thrilled to partner with Natoora for our newest seasonal and are grateful to them for introducing us to Carmelo and his incredibly delicious Moro Blood Oranges. Visiting Carmelo’s beautiful Blood Orange Grove in Sicily was a true highlight since starting the business and his passion and dedication to quality resonate with what we’re doing at MOMO. Our brewers have done an exceptional job to balance the bright citrus acidity and deep berry-like sweetness from the oranges with our kombucha.”
