Black Sheep Coffee releases first of its kind functional coffee range

Black Sheep Coffee has kicked off the new year with a leap into the functional drinks space. The new range began appearing on the shelves in January, marking a first for the mainstream coffee market.

This coffee is packed with targeted benefits that go way beyond a regular caffeine kick. The new Functional Latte options are packed with mushrooms, prebiotics, and Lion’s Mane.

From glowing skin to gut health and focus-boosting blends, Black Sheep Coffee is experimenting with what coffee can do. ‘No gimmicks, no shortcuts’ – just expertly crafted blends that prove coffee can be as functional as it is delicious, according to the company.

From 8th January, there will be three shots available which are featured in the functional latte menu: a Gut Shot, Beauty Shot and Brain Shot – these can also be added to any Black Sheep Coffee product across the menu.

The Functional Latte line-up:

• Get the Glow Latte: Boosted with a unique mushroom blend and marine collagen, this coffee aims to provide beauty benefits.
• Gut Revival Latte: Packed with seven prebiotic fibres, this blend aims to keep your gut balanced and happy.
• Lion’s Mane Latte: This blend features Lion’s Mane and aims to provide mental clarity to the customer.
• Functional Iced Latte: Cool, creamy, and functional. Intended benefits include: glowing skin, a healthy gut, and sharpened focus.

The Tumeric Matcha Line-Up:

• Hot Turmeric Matcha: Turmeric spice meets organic, ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha and oat milk for a bold to create a warming brew.
• Iced Turmeric Matcha: This golden blend of turmeric and organic, ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha over ice aims to provide cooling wellness.
