Steeped Coffee brings sustainable single-serve coffee to Nama 2021

Steeped Coffee, a certified B Corp, is showcasing the company’s innovative brewing technology at The NAMA Show and Coffee Tea & Water, from 18 – 20 August in New Orleans. The company will demonstrate its award-winning Steeped Coffee Brewing Method quickly becoming the new standard in single-serve coffee. Brewed similar to tea, the fully certified compostable Steeped Packs require no machines or specialty brewing equipment.
Steeped Packs contain craft-roasted, freshly ground pre-portioned coffee that is triple nitro-sealed to guarantee the perfect cup every time. Steeped partners with more than 300+ top roasters across the country to deliver sustainable quality coffee that is craft roasted. The company recently added an SQF certified east coast facility to its west coast manufacturing capabilities. Both facilities are also certified organic, kosher, and fair trade, and its packaging is BPI certified compostable — bringing the highest level of sustainable manufacturing to Steeped customers nationwide. Attendees are invited to try the Steeped Brewing Method at Booth 2046 on the trade show floor.
“Steeped is bringing the convenience of single-serve brewing together with the quality of specialty coffee,” said Josh Wilbur, founder and CEO, Steeped Coffee. “Since we launched the Steeped Coffee method in 2017 from humble beginnings, it’s been exciting to see significant adoption from top brands across the country who are focused on convenience and quality, while prioritising sustainability.”
Steeped’s innovative brewing method and sustainable packaging solutions were awarded ‘Best New Product’ honours at the 2019 Specialty Coffee Expo, the largest industry event in North America and ‘Best of Show’ honours at the KeHE Summer On Trends Show featuring the entire grocery industry. Steeped partners with several non-profits through its Packs for Good program and donates 1% of all revenue through the Steeped Giving Fund.
“We all have a role to play when it comes to protecting the world we live in and we take that responsibility seriously, especially when it comes to packaging,” said Wilbur. “Our award-winning certified commercially compostable Guilt-Free Packaging™ takes every possible step to ensure that our sacred coffee rituals go unnoticed by the next generation.”
