BLK & Bold adds two roasts to its line up

BLK & Bold is expanding its coffee portfolio with two new roasts: Brighter Days, a dark roast, and Smoove Operator, a light roast.

The new products, which launched on 22 June, have an MSRP of USD $15 and are available on the company’s website (blkandbold.com) and Amazon.

BLK & Bold is the first black-owned, nationally distributed coffee brand. It was founded in 2018 in Des Moines, Iowa, by childhood friends Pernell Cezar and Rod Johnson. The company, which was created with a desire to make purpose popular, pledges 5% of its profits to initiatives aligned with sustaining youth programming, enhancing workforce development and eradicating youth homelessness.

In addition to Brighter Days and Smoove Operator, BLK & Bold’s coffee offering includes: BLK & Bold (Dark Roast Blend), Rise & GRND (Medium Roast Blend), Coffee-ish (Medium Roast Decaf Blend), La Guadalupe, Honduras Single Origin Light Roast (Direct Trade), Limu, Ethiopia Single Origin Light Roast, and The Warm Up, which features two SKUS — Western Conference and Eastern Conference.

The company also markets a tea line that includes products such as Chai Loose Leaf Tea, Chamomile Loose leaf Herbal Tea [Caffeine Free], Earl Grey Loose Leaf Black Tea, Jasmine Loose Leaf Green Tea, Peach Loose leaf Green Tea.
