Ally Coffee unifies specialty and commercial divisions, announces new CEO

Ally Coffee has announced it will unify its US Specialty and Commercial divisions under one roof beginning in 2021. The company will be closing its Plantation, FL office and effectively moving all operations to its Greenville, SC location. This move is expected to establish a stronger foundation throughout all departments and divisions, enabling Ally Coffee to better serve its customers and suppliers for future growth.

Among other changes within the group, longtime CEO Bruno Tavares has transitioned to become the CFO of the Montesanto Tavares Group, the umbrella organisation of which Ally Coffee is a part. Rogerio Schiavo has now been announced as the new CEO of Ally Coffee. Schiavo has a background in the coffee business since 1990 and served as the CEO of Atlantica, Ally Coffee’s sister company, for the past 14 years. Rodrigo Montesanto has moved into the CEO position of Atlantica Coffee in Rogerio’s place after serving many years in Atlantica’s commercial and operational divisions.
