Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea announces newest military charity partner
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company, a Tampa, Florida-based coffee roaster, announced its newest military charity partner is Folds of Honor. This organisation provides scholarships for the children and spouses of fallen or disabled service members. Since its founding in 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded over 24,500 scholarships to both children and spouses of our nation’s heroes – from colleges, to k-12 institutions.
Joffrey’s works with several charities through its Giving Back Collection, which is made up of three coffee blends (Wish Maker’s Blend benefiting Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, Rise and Shrine Blend benefiting Shriners Hospital for Children, and Valor Blend, now benefitting Folds of Honor). With the purchase of each one-pound bag of Giving Back Collection coffees, USD $1 is donated to the corresponding cause.
“We are honoured to welcome Folds of Honor to the Joffrey’s family, and to have proceeds from our Valor Blend go towards their mission,” said Ted Abrams, CEO of Joffrey’s. “At Joffrey’s, we are committed to supporting those who serve to protect our country.”
In honour of Memorial Day and new partnership with Folds of Honor, Joffrey’s will be doubling donations for each one-pound bag of Valor Blend purchased through 25 May. Valor Blend has an MSRP of USD $13.99 for a regular 16-oz bag and $14.99 for a bag of decaf (16 oz). Single serve cups are available in 24 or 96 count for $16.99 or $65.99, respectively.
