Winners of Tea & Coffee Global Supplier Awards announced
With over 1,000 votes cast in the inaugural Tea & Coffee Global supplier Awards, Bell Publishing has announced the winners of Best Tea Supplier and Best Coffee Supplier.
Voted by members of the industry, the Tea & Coffee Global Supplier Awards celebrate and reward excellence within the tea and coffee industry.
Anverally Tea scooped the award for Best Tea Supplier. Founded on a passion to provide the finest Ceylon tea, Anverally Tea is dedicated to the unique place that tea drinking commands at the core of daily life around the world. Drawing on four generations of tea blending and tasting experience, the company today is one of the largest tea exporters from Sri Lanka.

In coffee, Caravela Coffee was voted Best Coffee Supplier. An importer and exporter of specialty green coffee, Caravela Coffee responsibly sources coffee from 4,000 coffee producers across eight countries in Latin America, the majority of which are small-holder farmers.
The company facilitates relationships between small-scale producers and coffee roasters, based on the principles of transparency and traceability with no barriers to information access.
Through technical assistance provided by its PECA educators, Siembra y Cosecha program, farmer field schools, and virtual classrooms in remote coffee communities Caravela generates impact at origin countries and provides resources that coffee producers can use to improve the quality of their coffee, the productivity and efficiency of their farms, and ultimately their livelihoods. The company is committed to fostering economic empowerment by promoting quality coffee and rewarding farmers for it with higher prices and personal recognition.

The next Tea & Coffee Global Supplier Awards will take place at the Tea & Coffee World Cup, in Istanbul, Turkey in September 2020.
