Middleby Acquires JoeTap, Nitro Brew Coffee Systems

The Middleby Corporation has acquired JoeTap, a subsidiary of AC Beverage, Inc. The Annapolis, Maryland-based company is a leading innovator of on-demand nitro and cold brew coffee dispensing equipment for the commercial foodservice industry.

“JoeTap is a recognised leader in the nitro brew category, a market that is quickly gaining momentum. This acquisition extends our portfolio of beverage solutions and enables Middleby to provide customers with a solution as they capitalise on the nitro brew trend,” says Selim Bassoul, CEO of Elgin, Illinois-based The Middleby Corporation. “JoeTap has a patented nitrogen infusion process that will be incorporated into innovative designs providing a smaller footprint and greater operator flexibility.
