TWG Tea Opens 4th Boutique & Tea Counter in Changi Airport
This month, TWG Tea is opening a new flagship travel retail boutique concept in Singapore’s Changi Airport Terminal 4. TWG Tea travel and retail concepts are also located within the Duty Free zones of Changi Airport Terminals 1, 2 and 3. The new destination in Terminal 4 greets travellers in the Duty Free zone with an 11-metre high tea wall, packed with more than 2,000 tea tins filled with over 800 varieties of loose-leaf teas from every tea-producing region around the globe.
Incorporating an experiential journey for travellers transiting through Singapore, the new airport location also features a Tea Tasting Counter where guests can indulge in single-estate, fine harvest teas and exclusive blends from across the globe. Aiming for an intuitive and personalized experience, TWG Tea Connoisseurs also provide guests with an insight into the heritage and history of tea, educating and inspiring travellers onto their next journey.
Travellers looking for last-minute gifts can purchase the Bon Voyage Cotton Teabag Assortment, handcrafted to suit every unique journey. Customers may choose from the deepest corners of India’s tea plantations to the highest peaks of South Africa’s mountain ranges and discover rare, single estate teas from the most remote regions of the world, blended with fruits, flowers and spices. The Bon Voyage Cotton Teabag Assortment retails for S$46.73.
Confectionaries featuring the one-of-a-kind tea-infused chocolate bonbons in 16 varieties are also available. Guests may choose from white chocolate ganache infused with Matcha Nara and enrobed in dark chocolate, dark chocolate and White Night Jasmine Tea ganache enrobed in dark chocolate, and milk chocolate ganache infused with Spice Route Tea, banana and ginger enrobed in milk chocolate. A selection of chocolate truffles, shortbread cookies, chocolate bars, and tea jellies are also available for the travelling epicurean.
