Mariage Fréres, the French luxury tea brand, has unveiled official 2026 Christmas collection, which debuted at its Covent Garden tearoom in London. The all-new assortment features the Noel in Love box, which is exclusive to the Covent Garden location and Selfridges in London. The other items in the holiday collection will be available worldwide at Mariage Fréres locations and its website. 

Tea & Coffee Trade Journal was invited to the Covent Garden flagship store to experience the new products ahead of the upcoming holiday season, alongside an exclusive afternoon tea menu infused with all the Christmas collection’s flavours. 

Located in a grand five-storey Georgian townhouse, open to the public every day, the Covent Garden venue offers the world’s largest collection of teas in the tea museum on the ground floor, where the colours fill the room as visitors explore it. On the first floor, a tea-infused restaurant makes for an immersive and gourmet experience.  

The launch event featured a welcoming delicate champagne flavoured with pink and blue Artemis tea, a luxurious Swan Lake musical tea box pairing the magic of ballet with the art of tea, a not too sweet and very light and creamy Bûche de Noel infused with Matcha Fuji San tea and a selection of tea infused savoury bite-sized delicacies.  

The new Christmas collection features a flavour for everyone, from the ‘Bûche de Noêl’ with sweet chocolate and caramel notes, to the ‘Christmas in Love’ with warming spices. The 2026 Christmas collection includes:  

BÛCHE DE NOËL 

Inspired by the festive, gourmet flavours of its Christmas log cake and its notes of citrus, chocolate, caramel and red fruits to create this fabulous black tea.  

A sugar-free option to enjoy during the holidays and beyond- the perfect gift for the more health-conscious who don’t want to sacrifice the occasional warming sweet treat. 

CHRISTMAS IN LOVE 

The festive and romantic composition, enriched with Christmas almonds and hibiscus flower, envelops the palate with its exquisite and mellow flavour. 

NOËL ROYAL 

The rich and generous bergamot notes amaze the palate, perfect for those who prefer a stronger blend. 

NOËL PRINCIER 

A festive green tea with beautiful jade leaves, generous fruits and noble spices. Perfect for those who prefer a gentler, more calming tea. 

GARDEN PARTY 

The most irresistibly fragrant compositions are united for the very first time in this gift set presenting magnificent silk-screened tins. Perfect for those who want to try a little bit of everything, it holds three specialty teas:
