Haunted Treehouse Tea at Richmond Hill Hotel

Set within the leafy surroundings of Richmond Hill, Richmond Hill Hotel‘s 144 On The Hill restaurant is bringing a gloriously ghoulish twist to its afternoon tea with the Haunted Treehouse Tea. Inspired by the wild beauty of nearby Richmond Park, the seasonal experience combines playful Halloween touches with the restaurant’s signature approach to handcrafted pastries and carefully prepared savouries.

Expect a tempting spread of delicate bites and devilishly decadent seasonal treats, all prepared in-house by the pastry team. With its enchanting woodland inspiration and elegant setting, it’s a lovely way to celebrate the season, whether gathering friends for an autumnal afternoon or treating little ones to a Halloween outing with a difference.

For those who prefer their afternoon tea with a little fizz, the hotel is also offering a complimentary glass of bubbles with full afternoon tea from Monday to Friday, making it all the more tempting to book a last-minute seasonal treat.

A blooming British Halloween afternoon tea at Royal Lancaster London

For a Halloween tea with a creative twist, Royal Lancaster London has teamed up with the Natural History Museum for its A Blooming British Halloween Afternoon Tea. Bringing together the beauty of the natural world and the artistry of the hotel’s pastry team, the limited-edition menu puts a seasonal spin on the hotel’s A Blooming British afternoon tea, inspired by British flora, fauna and pollinators.

Alongside traditional finger sandwiches and warm homemade scones served with clotted cream and preserves, the sweet selection is where the Halloween magic really comes to life. Highlights include The Bat, featuring cinnamon mousse, blood orange gel, matcha sponge and chocolate streusel, and a Rosemary and Pumpkin Cheesecake with pumpkin praline and maple sponge. The Beehive, filled with spiced fig jam, mascarpone mousse and honey cake, adds another playful nod to the natural world.

The experience is accompanied by bespoke teas from Camellia’s Tea House, including the Pollinator Blend, created exclusively for the hotel. A vegan afternoon tea is also available, with its own selection of seasonal sweet treats.

Served in the hotel’s elegant Hyde Café, it’s a sophisticated take on Halloween indulgence, with thoughtful details that make it as appealing to photograph as it is to savour.
