Lavazza announced the UK launch of Tablì, a new capsule-free, single serve coffee system centered around a 100% coffee tab, entirely without coating or binders.

Tablì combines a specially designed machine and a 100% coffee tab with cutting-edge brewing technology. Emanuele Pellegrino, Lavazza UK & Nordics regional director said “Tablì represents a major breakthrough not only for Lavazza, but for the coffee industry as a whole. By combining a 100% coffee tab with a specially designed machine and unique brewing technology, we are introducing an entirely new product category and a coffee experience that, until now, simply didn’t exist on the market.”

At the heart of Tablì is an intuitive user experience. Its distinctive bean-shaped slider and servo-assisted piston system make inserting and removing each tab simple and seamless, adding an original and tactile element to the brewing process. 

The machine’s brewing system allows users to easily make a variety of different coffee preparations including espresso, lungo, double espresso. Tablì also introduces Crema Plus technology, using a unique brewing method to create a rich, velvety crema on every cup. Plus, equipped with WiFi support, Tablì is compatible with Alexa and Google Home, as well as having an innovative app to personalise every coffee experience.

The experience extends beyond the machine itself. The flavour and aroma of the Tablì coffee tabs are protected through the specially developed packaging which preserves the quality of each tab for the perfect sip in every cup. Once brewed, the tabs can be easily disposed of with food waste.

The Tablì coffee machine is available at RRP £199 with the Tabs priced at RRP £5.49 for 12 single dose tabs or £6.89 for 12 double dose tabs.

Tablì is available in UK from September 2026, exclusively at John Lewis, and will be available from Lavazza.co.uk as well as third party online sellers from 1 November 2026.
