Coulée Coffee Co has announced a partnership with Staypineapple Hotels to become the in-room coffee provider across all nine of the brand’s properties in Boston, Chicago, New York, Portland, San Francisco and Seattle beginning April 2026.

Coulée Coffee’s 100% compostable EcoPour Filters and the Coulée SWIRL Brewing System replace the plastic-laden single-serve pods that have long been the standard in hotel rooms.

The Coulée SWIRL machine uses a proprietary brew system, featuring a swirl motion that replicates the bloom, extraction and finish of a skilled barista that makes a premium pour through a fully plastic-free, stainless steel brew path. Guests choose from three 100% Arabica blends – She-Devil, Doc’s Blend and B.I.O.N Decaf – in fully compostable EcoPour Filters.

“This collaboration is a major milestone for plastic-free coffee in the hospitality industry,” said Ted Ayliffe Ph.D., co-founder and CEO of Coulée Coffee Co “We’ve always believed that convenience and sustainability don’t have to be at odds. Waking up in a great hotel room and brewing a genuinely great cup of coffee, without a plastic pod in sight, is the experience every traveller deserves. We’re proud to bring that to every Staypineapple guest.”

Staypineapple has made sustainability a core part of its operations. The company has eliminated single-use plastic water bottles in favour of refillable ones, uses renewable energy for a large share of its hotel operations, and has implemented refillable in-room soap dispensers to reduce waste, while continuing to set ambitious goals for increasing recycling and renewable energy use across its properties.

“Staypineapple has long set itself apart through thoughtful, guest-first design and a deep commitment to sustainability,” said Dina Belon, president, Staypineapple Hotels. “From eliminating single-use plastic water bottles to operating properties powered by 70% renewable energy, we believe doing right by our guests and doing right by the planet are one and the same.”

The Coulée Coffee and Staypineapple partnership is available across all nine properties beginning April 2026, proof that the future of hospitality is one where great coffee and a cleaner planet come standard.
