Ceado named Qualified Espresso Grinder Sponsor for the World Barista Championship

Ceado, leading Italian manufacturer of professional coffee equipment, has been named the Qualified Espresso Grinder Sponsor for the 2026–2027 World Barista Championship. Throughout the two-year period, Ceado will support competitors on the world stage with two of its flagship grinders: REV Zero and E37Z-Naked. 

By offering competitors a choice between two grinders that minimize retention with distinct grinding technologies, Ceado provides baristas with greater control over extraction approach and aromatic expression. Both grinders are engineered around the same core principles of precision, reliability and consistency while offering different technical solutions to support diverse brewing styles and sensory goals. 

REV Zero is a professional on-demand grinder developed to eliminate retention between shots through reverse grinding technology and a modular architecture. Designed for workflow efficiency and repeatable performance, it features 83 mm flat burrs made of K110 steel, with Red Speed coating and the patented Sweep-Out system that supports direct dosing with minimal waste and high consistency in competitive environments. 

E37Z-Naked is Ceado’s single-dose grinder designed for maximum control and flexibility. It features 83 mm flat burrs with DLC coating, and a different grinding geometry developed for flavor profiling and experimentation. The grinder is equipped with Steady Lock Grinder technology to maintain burr alignment and uniform granulometry while the Quick Set Gear system allows fast and precise grind size adjustments. 

This dual-grinder approach reflects Ceado’s belief that there is no single correct way to extract coffee at the highest level. Instead, competitors are empowered with tools that allow them to design, refine and express their own aromatic vision while meeting the strict performance standards required on the WBC stage.
