Speciality coffee roaster Pact Coffee is set to expand its decaffeinated coffee range in Waitrose, with a new Bourbon Cream Decaf ground coffee.
Pact Coffee’s Bourbon Cream Decaf (rsp: £7.95/200g) ($10.60) will be available to buy pre-ground to suit most brewing equipment in 135 Waitrose stores across the UK as well as online at waitrose.com from 20 October 2025.
It follows Pact Coffee’s decaf pods, which launched in Waitrose in June 2025 as the second speciality grade decaf coffee available in the grocery store, and comes as the international decaf market is in a reported 16% annual growth, with one in five UK coffee drinkers now regularly opting for decaf coffee.
Will Corby, director of coffee at Pact Coffee, said: “We conducted some consumer research before we sourced this coffee and 70% of coffee drinkers told us they’d be more likely to consider decaf if there were better tasting options available, so we’re delighted to bring a decaf with such delicious flavour and high quality to grocery shoppers.”
What’s more, the coffee in each bag of Pact Coffee’s new Bourbon Cream Decaf ground coffee is from the Cucilla del San Juan association: a co-operative of 123 Colombian growers which has earned awards for supporting communities affected by violence.
Each bag purchased by Waitrose customers will help to improve lives in this farming community, according to Will.
