From today, Nespresso and social enterprise Change Please are inviting Londoners to enjoy coffee that changes lives.
The Nespresso x Change Please Coffee Van will take up residency in Covent Garden Square until the 10th October, serving barista-crafted coffee with a purpose.
To mark International Coffee Day on 1 October, Londoners can pick up a free coffee at the van from 10am–5pm. After launch day, coffees will be available daily from 10am-5pm, with every cup supporting Change Please’s mission to end homelessness through the power of great tasting coffee.
Founded in London as a coffee cart in Covent Garden 10 years ago, Change Please now reinvests 100% of its profits into helping people experiencing homelessness, offering barista training, employment, housing and mental health support. To date, Nespresso has contributed £1.5 million to the Change Please Foundation, helping more people find stability and a fresh start.
Anna Lundstrom, CEO of Nespresso UK & ROI commented “At Nespresso, we have always believed in the power of coffee as a force for good. What better way to celebrate International Coffee Day than to showcase this power. Over the next 10 days we invite Londoners to take a moment to enjoy our specially crafted Nespresso for Change Please coffees and learn about how together we can support people on their journey out of homelessness.”
The Nespresso x Change Please van will be serving a specially crafted coffee blend, with sweet notes of toasted cereals and a hint of nut, showcasing Nespresso’s uncompromising taste and quality.
