2025 Gold Medal and Sustainability Awards submission process now open

Tea-producing countries and their national tea boards have been invited to participate – either in person or virtually – in two global competitions aimed at celebrating quality and innovation within the tea industry.

The Gold Medal Tea Competition offers a platform to recognize the highest-quality teas from around the world. Entries will be evaluated solely based on origin, independent of production type or grade. The competition aims to identify and honour outstanding “Gold Medal Teas” that exemplify craftsmanship and regional distinction. Full contest rules and submission details are available below.

In addition, the Sustainability Awards will acknowledge initiatives that promote and highlight sustainability across the tea sector. Open to all entrants and free of charge, these awards provide an opportunity to leadership and innovation in sustainable practices.
