Cup of Excellence and M-Cultivo part ways

The Cup of Excellence (COE) program and the Alliance for Coffee Excellence (ACE), who pioneered specialty coffee competitions, and M-Cultivo, a leading auction host and platform in the specialty coffee space, have decided to part ways. This marks a meaningful change and an exciting new chapter for the specialty coffee auction space, with M-Cultivo poised to continue serving producers, roasters, and coffee buyers worldwide.

As a trusted partner in the coffee community, M-Cultivo has a proven track record of delivering exceptional service, innovative solutions, and unwavering support to coffee producers. M-Cultivo remains the trusted auction provider for private producers and country-level competitions such as the Best of Panama, The Dubai Coffee Auction, Colombia Land of Diversity, Best of Rwanda, and Best of Ecuador. Over the last twelve months auction prices have hit record highs on M-Cultivo’s auction platform surpassing USD $10,000.00 per kilogram on multiple occasions.

“We are proud of the work we’ve done in the coffee industry and the relationships we’ve built over the years,” said David Paparelli, CEO at M-Cultivo. “While we are not involved in this year’s Cup of Excellence auctions, we are excited to continue supporting the coffee community and the great coffee producers the industry owes so much to.”
