PJ’s Coffee Launches New Skinny King Cake Protein Velvet Ice
PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans (PJ’s) is kicking off the Mardi Gras season with a new King Cake-flavoured Skinny Protein Velvet Ice, along with its cult favourite King Cake Lattes, hot coffee and cold brews. The King Cake beverages are available at all PJ’s locations now through the end of February.
“Mardi Gras is a time of community celebration for New Orleans residents and visitors,” says Reid Nolte, director of marketing of PJ’s Coffee. “At PJ’s, we love the communal spirit of the holiday — and think there’s no better way to celebrate than with a cup of King Cake-flavoured coffee.”
PJ’s Skinny King Cake Velvet Ice is the perfect beverage for guests who are looking for healthier options in the new year. The Velvet Ice features high-quality ingredients of homemade, ultra-low-calorie PJ’s Original Cold Brew concentrate, fat-free milk, and EAS Whey Protein Concentrate. The beverage meets the Ochsner Eat Fit guidelines: a 16-oz Skinny King Cake Velvet Ice has 21 grams of protein and less than 1 teaspoon of added sugar.
