The NCA Announces Coffee Gives Back Program
The National Coffee Association (NCA) has launched the NCA Coffee Gives Back Program Showcase and Award.
The NCA Coffee Gives Back Program is designed to highlight nonprofits dedicated to supporting coffee communities through a new NCA Coffee Gives Back Showcase and the NCA Origin Charity of the Year Award. Eligible coffee-related charitable organizations will be recognized for their commitment to bettering the lives of producers, their families, and communities at origin by:
- Showcasing their organization’s work and accomplishments;
- Raising the organization’s profile and public image;
- Increasing awareness of their organization and brand;
- Providing opportunities to attract donations;
- Heightening their visibility by being associated with the industry’s leading; trade organization.
All coffee-related charitable organizations that meet the eligibility requirements, no matter their size or revenues, are encouraged to participate in the NCA Coffee Gives Back Program Showcase and apply for the 2018 NCA Origin Charity of the Year Award.
NCA Membership is not required for participation in the NCA Coffee Gives Back Program Showcase and Award, and will not be used as an evaluative criterion in judging the applicants of the 2018 NCA Origin Charity of the Year Award. Program Benefits include:
- Featured on the NCA Coffee Gives Back web page on the NCA website, with a link to the home page of the charitable organization.
- Promotion through NCA communication channels.
- Exclusive use of the NCA Coffee Gives Back Program logo.
- Listing in the NCA Coffee Gives Back Program advertisement in the NCA Annual Convention 2018 program as an NCA Coffee Gives Back Program Charity.
- Complimentary placement in the NCA Convention 2018 registration bags of one piece of informational or promotional material.
- The opportunity to be considered for the 2018 NCA Origin Charity of the Year Award, which will be presented at the NCA 2018 Annual Convention. The NCA Origin Charity of the Year Award Winner will receive additional valuable benefits! (Additional information is required to be eligible.)
The deadline to submit Sections I and II of the NCA Coffee Gives Back Program Application to be considered for the 2018 NCA Origin Charity of the Year Award is Friday, 15 December 2017.
The Award Ceremony will take place during the Opening General Session of the NCA Annual Convention 2018 on Friday, 16 March 2018 at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel, New Orleans, Louisiana.
