Wicked Coffee Adds Yorkshire Tea to its Beverage Range
The Wicked Coffee Company has added Yorkshire Tea – one of the United Kingdom’s leading brands of tea – to its hot and cold beverage range after agreeing to a deal with Taylors of Harrogate.
The deal, finalized in July, will see Wicked Coffee stocking Taylors’ black tea range that includes Yorkshire Tea and the premium Yorkshire Gold blend, which combines leaves from Assam, Kenya and Rwanda.
Fergus Walsh, managing director of Wetherby, West Yorkshire, England-based, Wicked Coffee, says, “We are really excited to have added such an iconic brand to our existing range. Yorkshire Tea is a household name across the country and, like Wicked Coffee, Taylors is a family business committed to responsible ethical trading which is so important to us.”
“Wicked has a very diverse customer base, which includes supplying over 65 Student Unions in England, Scotland and Wales. We know our customers are always looking for new products to sell, so adding Yorkshire Tea to the range is great news for them and us,” says Natalie Cross, out of home manager, at Taylors of Harrogate, based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. “We are excited to be working with Wicked Coffee and spreading the love for Yorkshire Tea through the university sector. The success of Yorkshire Tea is due to our dedication to doing things properly – from the way we source and blend our teas, to the relationships we’ve built with our growers, employees and, of course, consumers – more of whom appreciate the lengths we go to in crafting a proper brew.”
