Löfbergs is strengthening its long-term partnership with Food Folk, McDonald’s developmental licensee in the Nordics, as Finland joins the agreement. With this expansion, Löfbergs becomes the coffee supplier to McDonald’s restaurants across Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

This marks the first time a single coffee partner will serve McDonald’s across the Nordic region.

“It is an ambition for us to serve great-tasting, high-quality coffee in every McDonald’s restaurant in the Nordics, every day. Strengthening our partnership with Löfbergs across all four Nordic markets is an important step in ensuring a consistent coffee experience, while continuing to raise the bar on quality. Through our partnership with Löfbergs, we also ensure that our specially developed McDonald’s blend is not only of high quality, but also responsibly sourced, with organic and Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee – allowing us to combine great taste with responsible sourcing”, says Søren Vogt, chief supply chain officer at Food Folk.

“Being selected as the sole coffee partner across the Nordics reflects the strength of our offering and the trust we have built through long-term collaboration focused on taste, quality, sustainability and customer care”, says Trina Törnqvist, chief international business officer at Löfbergs.
