The Coffee Company Creates Special Blend for Rowcroft Hospice

The Coffee Company has created its own blend of coffee, Frank’s Roast, under the Straight Up label and for every bag sold a donation will be made Rowcroft Hospice in South Devon. The Coffee Company became a supporter of Rowcroft Hospice after it supported the roaster when one of its founders, Robert Stephenson, lost his fight against cancer in 2016. Richard Stephenson, Robert’s eldest son and one of the directors of The Coffee Company, said “Rowcroft’s help and support through our family’s difficult time made each day the best it could have been, and we were comforted to know that Dad was given the best care by this charity and its staff.”

Brothers, Richard and Matthew Stephenson, now run the Coffee Company, and they continue to remain passionate about the coffee and tea industry and strive to provide the best possible customer service to keep their family business heading in the direction that Robert wished.

Frank’s Roast is hand roasted with beans which have been exclusively sourced giving a bold, rich flavour. Frank’s Roast can be found in many different outlets throughout South Devon and continues to be a popular choice of coffee.

The Coffee Company is a family-owned, Devon-based tea and coffee supplier focused on roasting small batch specialty coffee from select regions including Fairtrade, organic and Rainforest Alliance-certified coffee. In March 2011, the Devon Tea Company Limited was born, supplying loose leaf tea that is ethically sourced and packed in Devon. Rowcroft Hospice is an independent charity and provides comfort, support and specialist care in patients homes, in the community and at their Inpatient Unit in Torquay. Three quarters of patients are supported in their own homes by a team of community nurses, social workers, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. They also care for out-patients and their loved ones, offering therapies and bereavement support – helping families make the most of their precious time together.
