The third annual Cincinnati Coffee Festival is moving to a new, larger home in the Grand Ballroom of the Duke Energy Convention Center, 525 Elm St. in Downtown Cincinnati.
It’s set to take place Friday, Oct. 11 through Sunday, Oct. 13. Cincinnati Coffee Festival will once again kick off with a trade day on Friday for coffee shop owners, baristas and people interested in getting into the coffee business. Saturday and Sunday will be open to the public, with 60 local and regional coffee roasters, coffee and tea shops, bakers, pastry shops and chocolatiers on hand to sample their wares. Popular activities such as the Latte Art Throwdown, where baristas vie for the title of top latte artist, and Latte Art in Action, where attendees can try their hand at creating latte art, will be back this year. Other demonstrations and live music will also be part of the fun.
Event hours are 12:30-6 p.m. Friday (Trade Day); 10 a.m.*-5 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m.*-4 p.m. Sunday. (*VIP ticket holders get in one hour early.) General admission is $12.50 in advance; $15 the day of the event. VIP tickets are $20 in advance; $25 the day of the event. VIP Gold tickets are $35 in advance or $40 the day of the event.
