Peet’s Coffee Gives Back with Annual Anniversary Blend

Peet’s Coffee announced the release of its annual, limited-edition Anniversary Blend, which honours the brand’s founding by giving back to origin through its Drink a Great Cup, Do a Good Thing programme. The 2018 Anniversary Blend continues the tradition of donating to coffee-producing communities, and this year is in support of clean water access.

Peet’s is celebrating its 52nd anniversary by doing what they love most: crafting great coffee and giving back to the people who grow it. This year they offer a rare blend of two African coffees from either shore of Lake Kivu. Rwanda delivers the cherry juiciness, while Congo is tart at the top, zesty at the finish. Both coffees balance bright flavours of fruit with deep notes of sugar browning. Peet’s Coffee Villages Project will provide safe drinking water to 2,000 families in the communities that grow Peet’s coffee. Additionally, 5% of proceeds help provide clean water to coffee families in Rwanda. Peet’s first launched the Anniversary Blend in 1991.

The 2018 Anniversary Blend is available now, and while supplies last. The blend can be purchased at participating Peet’s coffee bar locations and at the company’s website for USD $19.95 per pound.
