Miles Tea & Coffee Hosts Tea Party for a Cause

Miles Tea & Coffee Merchants is hosting a coffee morning and tea party at their Vale Road, Porlock Roastery (TA24 8PU) on 7 September, to benefit St. Margaret’s Hospice.

The inaugural fundraising event is open to all. Miles will be offering three freshly roasted coffees—including their best-selling West Country Original blend and Decaf—a range of herbal and fruit infusions along with hot chocolate and homemade cakes.

Entrance to the event will be free, with donations requested in aid of Somerset Hospice, St. Margaret’s.

“We are delighted to hold this event in support of St. Margaret’s Hospice, which provides a vital service to the residents of Somerset,” says Sam Burton, marketing manager at Miles Tea & Coffee. “By joining in with our special Time for Tea event [attendees] will have the opportunity not only to sample a range of Miles products, but to support the Hospice as well. We’ve worked with the charity for a number of years, and had never thought about actually hosting an event but it seemed to make sense.”

Miles’ Time for Tea fundraiser will run from 10.30am until 12pm. For more info on Time for Tea, visit: https://www.somerset-hospice.org.uk/time-for-tea.

Based in Minehead, Somerset, England, Miles Coffee & Tea Merchants will celebrate its 130th anniversary in 2018.
