New Starbucks Launches New Horchata Frappuccino and Pumpkin Spice Beverages

This week Starbucks announced new beverage offerings for on-premise stores and grocery retailers across the US and Canada.

Inspired by the horchata beverages, which vary by culture and region, Starbucks Horchata Almond Milk Frappuccino blended beverage starts with almond milk, cinnamon dolce syrup, coffee, and ice blended together. Starbucks puts a twist on the recipe by topping the beverage with whipped cream, a swirl of caramel, and cinnamon and sugar sprinkles.

While the official date of the return of the original handcrafted Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte remains undisclosed, Starbucks has announced the debut of two new products in fall’s favourite flavour, exclusively for grocery locations: Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte and Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Flavoured Ground Coffee.

Rolling out to grocery locations nationwide later this month, the new ready-to-drink Starbucks Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte features Arabica coffee with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove spices.

In June, Starbucks introduced the new ready-to-drink Starbucks Iced Latte, an on-the-go beverage inspired by the customer-favourite handcrafted Caffe Latte that’s been on the Starbucks menu since 1984. Ready-to-drink Starbucks Iced Latte will continue to roll out other limited-time flavours throughout the year. The SRP is USD $2.79 for a 14-fl oz bottle.

Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Flavoured Ground Coffee is available now where groceries are sold nationwide. This new fall coffee features Starbucks lightest roast coffee with notes of pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg. The SRP is $9.99 for an 11-fl oz bag.

This year, customers will have six ways to enjoy the flavours of Starbucks PSL where groceries are sold as the new offerings join returning favourites Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Caffe Latte K-Cup Pods, Starbucks Iced Espresso Classics Pumpkin Spice Latte, Starbucks VIA Instant Pumpkin Spice Latte and Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino Chilled Coffee Drink.

Starbucks first launched the handcrafted Pumpkin Spice Latte at stores in 2003 and this fan-favourite beverage has since become Starbucks most popular seasonal beverage of all time.
