New Teavana Teas hit Starbucks stores for spring
Timed with the arrival of spring, Starbucks has introduced a variety of new Teavana teas at Starbucks stores that includes new Shaken Iced White Tea, Lightly Sweet Chai Tea Latte, and a regional roll-out of ready-to-drink Teavana Craft Iced Teas to Starbucks stores in the Northeast US.
Joining Starbucks year-round iced tea menu is the new Teavana Shaken Iced White Tea. Soft and delicate, the Shaken Iced White Tea is freshly steeped by Starbucks baristas and shaken with ice to create a crisp, subtly sweet refreshment. Customers can also enjoy Shaken Iced Green Tea, Shaken Iced Black Tea and Shaken Iced Passion Tango Tea as part of Starbucks core iced tea offerings. As with all Teavana Shaken Iced Teas, customers can ask their barista to craft their beverage unsweetened or sweetened. Beginning in March, all iced teas and tea lemonades will be sweetened with new Liquid Cane Sugar, which is designed to complement the flavours of iced tea.
A less-sweet take on Starbucks classic Teavana Classic Chai Tea Latte, Teavana Lightly Sweet Chai is black tea infused with cinnamon, clove and other warming spices mixed with steamed milk and sweetened with Liquid Cane Sugar, available hot or iced. Starbucks also offers a range of Teavana Chai teas as brewed, iced and latte beverages, including Organic Chai Brewed Tea and Classic Chai Tea Latte.
The new ready-to-drink (RTD) Teavana Craft Iced Teas, are available in three flavours: Mango Black Tea, Passion Tango Herbal Tea and Peach Green Tea. They’re available at participating Starbucks stores in the Northeast US. Mango Black Tea is a tropical blend with sunny mango notes, black tea and hints of lime. Peach Green Tea mingles green tea with sweet peach notes and Pacific Northwest mint. Passion Tango Herbal Tea is a punchy tea blend that combines hibiscus, apple and Thai lemongrass. Teavana Craft Iced Teas are free of artificial flavours, 100 calories or less and inspired by Teavana’s most popular tea blends. Teavana’s four RTD Craft Iced Tea flavours – Mango Black Tea, Passion Tango Herbal Tea, Peach Green Tea and Pineapple Berry Blue – are available at grocery and convenience retailers in New Hampshire, New York, Vermont and Missouri.
