Clipper Tea launches new gift packs to increase buying opportunities

Designed to create new buying occasions, Clipper Teas has introduced a stylish new gift box –the first of several to come – that features teas from the brand’s Organic Infusions range.

Available online at the Clipper shop and through Amazon (RRP £12), the bright and floral gift pack is inspired by the distinctive bright and vibrant colours of the brand. It contains a selection of Clipper’s popular and colourful Organic Infusions range – 60 tea bags in total.

Ideal for seasonal gifting occasions including Mother’s Day and birthdays, the gift box was developed to appeal to tea enthusiasts who like to experiment across the category and enjoy a variety of different flavours.

Each pack contains 10 enveloped bags of six Clipper Organic Infusions:

  • Clipper Flower Power: Elderflower, Hibiscus and Limeflower Organic Infusion;
  • Clipper Skinni Vanilli: Strawberry Flavoured Organic Infusion with Vanilla;
  • Clipper Calmer Chameleon: Chamomile, Honeybush and Cinnamon Organic Infusion;
  • Clipper Skinni Mintie: Caramel Flavour Organic Double Mint Infusion;
  • Clipper Happy Mondays: Lemon & Ginger Flavoured Organic Infusion with Cracked Black Pepper; and
  • Clipper Snore & Peace: Chamomile, Lemon Balm & Lavender Organic Infusion.

Clipper’s range of Organic Infusions offer consumers a drink for every occasion and use only fresh and natural ingredients. Each infusion is designed to suit a variety of needs and mindsets, such as Clipper Snore & Peace and Calmer Chameleon, to help ease consumers into a good night’s sleep and sense of calm. Clipper’s range of infusions, which help to address key lifestyle needs for consumers have been a big growth area for the natural and organic tea brand owned by Surrey, England-based Wessanen UK.

“Performing strongly in the category, tea gift packs have mass consumer appeal as they are intrinsically linked to socialising, a sense of occasion and treat moments,” says Adele Ward, Clipper Teas Brand Controller at Wessanen UK. “Tea is experiencing a resurgence with younger consumers entering the category, drinking new infusions and experimenting with different flavours and products.”

Ward notes that this is the first-time Clipper developed a gift box. “We’re confident it will have a strong rate of sale; tea is a popular gift choice for a wide range of consumers and occasions. Shoppers are often inspired to buy beautiful or premium selections that they would love to receive themselves – an appeal this gift box will definitely have,” she says.

Clipper’s new gift pack will be the first in a series of seasonal gift packs from the brand, designed to suit key times of year.
