Coffein Compagnie’s New Coffee Trader
Coffein Compagnie, German decaffeinator, has hired Dennis Neyer as new coffee trader. Dennis replaces Marco Boeschen who left the company in August. Neyer started his coffee career at Golluecke & Rothfos GmbH, (part of the Volcafé group) where he was trained for three years and then spent addtional two years in trade. During that time he also spent six months working for Prodelsur, Volcafé’s export company in Peru. Before joining Coffein Compagnie he worked for coffee agent, Nikolaus Reuter Kaffeeagentur in Bremen. Neyer will support Coffein Compagnie in purchasing and distributing its decaf and stomach-friendly coffee.
Royal Estates Names Supply Manager
John A. Cheetham has been named supply manager - tea for Royal Estates Tea Co., Division of UBFNA. Cheetham comes to Royal Estates with a strong and varied background in all aspects of tea tasting and buying as well as successful GMP, HAACP, and SHEQ implementations within the tea supply chain, stated Peter F. Goggi, director supply management - tea & commodities.

He began his career in the molasses trading division at Tate & Lyle, UK, as a logistics and operations assistant, and joined Unilever in 1998 as a management trainee and tea trader at Lipton Tea Supply, UK. He was responsible for marketing BBK and BBT teas to Unilever third party customers worldwide.

Most recently, Cheetham has held the position of tea manager at Unilever Ceylon. In this capacity, he managed the local tea supply chain, from raw tea purchase up to blending, to achieve lowest total transfer cost. Cheetham was a member of the Lipton “Brand Team,” which was responsible for growing the Lipton brand in Sri Lanka, achieving 20% volume growth in 2002. Additionally he worked as a blend developer in conjunction with Market Research in and effort to launch a new tea product for Unilever Ceylon.

New Head of Danisco Flavors
Jos Kleppers has joined Danisco as president of the Flavors Division.

With 20 years of experience in the flavor industry, Kleppers spent his early career with BBA rising to vice president flavors and fragrances Europe. Over the past three years, he has been with Sensient rising to president of flavors and fragrances worldwide. As president, he transformed this group into a professional worldwide organization that outperformed the industry average in sales growth and achieved record earnings over the last two years.

Foutch Joins Swiss Water
Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Company, Inc. (SWDCC) has hired Jodi Foutch, who will serve as their Northern California territory manager. Foutch will be responsible for maintaining, developing and growing the SWDCC customer base in Northern California. She will support SWDCC’s customers with current product information, marketing tools, and training opportunities, also acting as a liaison between her customers and SWDCC.

Foutch comes to Swiss Water with over nine years in the specialty coffee business. She has worked as a barista, owned her own café and has most recently served as a training manager at both Tully’s Coffee and Premium Espresso.
