Modern Alternative to the Tea Bag

As the tea bag continues to loose clout their is yet another product to challenge its value. One of the latest alternatives on the market is the tea stick. Unlike a tea bag that compresses under its own weight when steeped in water, the tea stick allows tea leaves enough space to uncurl and impart its full flavor to the water they steep in. Placed in a cup, hot water is directly poured over the tea stick and allowed to steep for a few minutes, which also acts as a strainer and a stirrer. The semi-rigid Tea Sticks are filled with loose lead tea allowing tea leaves the desired space to uncurl and release delicate flavor to the brew.

The company touts the tea sticks as convenient to use as they allow you to brew long leaf teas directly into a cup without the need for tea pots, strainers or stirrers.

Tea Sticks come factory filled with quality premium loose leaf teas that the company sources from some of the world’s best tea gardens and blenders. The company currently offers eights varieties of blends including: Chamomile, Chocolate-Mint, Earl Grey Supreme, English Breakfast, Hot Cinnamon Spice, Jasmine Green Team Sencha Green and Passion Fruit with 12 new flavors in development.
